I Can't Live Without You

Lord, don't let me walk away from Your love.
Don't let me rebel against You.
Don't leave me stranded, Lord.
I can't live without You.

Lord, help me to focus on You.
Don't let me get distracted.
Don't let my eyes wander from You.
I can't live without You.

Lord, take me by the hand and led me.
Don't let me pull away.
Don't let me wander from the path.
I can't live without You.

Without You, my life is nothing.
Without a Father, his son is lost.
Without an Author, the story has no words.
I can't live without You.

Lord, pour out love and mercy.
Tell me what You want me to do.
Just don't lean me, Lord.
I can't live without You.

Lord, mold and shape me.
Don't leave me in an unmolded mass.
Shape me into what You want me to be.
I can't live without You.

Lord, train up Your daughter.
Don't leave me to flounder in the world.
Don't leave me to find my own way.
I can't love without You.

Without You, my life is nothing.
Without a Father, his son is lost.
Without an Author, the story has no words.
I can't live without You.

Lord, open my eyes so that I can see.
Don't let me be a blind man.
Don't let me stumble through my days.
I can't live without You.

Lord, save me from this storm.
Don't let me drowned in the midst of the sea.
Don't let the wind blow me over.
I can't live without You.

Lord, let me build my house on a strong foundation.
Don't let it fall over in the storm.
Don't leave me without a sure foundation, Lord.
I can't live without You.

Without You, my life is nothing.
Without a Father, his son is lost.
Without an Author, the story has no words.
I can't live without You.

Is There Anything?

Pain gnaws at me from the inside out. Pain for the teenagers who have lost their way.
Pain for the families that are slowly breaking apart.
Is there anything I can do to help?

Tears stream down my cheeks.
Tears for those who have never heard the Gospel.
Tears for those who are dying from the inside out.
Is there anything I can do to help?

Love tears my heart in two.
Love for children who don’t have a family.
Love for handicap children who will never be ‘normal’.
Is there anything I can do to help?

There is a God who loves this world.
Enough to send His Son to die.
Enough to turn His face away from His Son.
There is something I can do to help.

God can work thru me to accomplish His plans.
God can work thru me to reach to the lost.
God can work thru me to save the dying.
There is something I can do to help.

I can obey, for God’s will to be done.
I can trust, for people to see God is an awesome God.
I can love, for people to see God’s love.
There is something I can do to help.

Where Have You Gone?

Why do you try to hide it all?
Why are you burdened so?
Don’t you know what love is?
Don’t you know what forgiveness is?

Don’t you know that there is someone who loves you more than you could ever know?
Don’t you know there is more to this life than meets the eye?
Don’t you know that there is a forgiveness that is more pure than any man can give?
Don’t you know you pray like there is tomorrow?

Where is your faith?
Where is your heart?
Why do you just walk away?
Why do you leave people stranded with no explanation?

There is one who could love you more than I ever could.
There is one who could forgive you over and over.
There is one who will never leave you.
Where have you gone?

Who am I?
Am I nobody?
You have pushed me out of your life.
What have I done to deserve such treatment?
What have you done?

Who is He?
Can He not save you from all?
You have pushed Him out of your life.
Does He no longer matter?
Is He just another person you can throw away?

There is one who can bring peace to all men.
There is one who can heal a broken heart.
There is one who can give grace.
Where have you gone?

I could never love you enough to show you how much He loves you.
I could never forgive you enough to show you how much He has forgiven you.
I could never be there enough to show you that He is always there for you.
I love you, but He loves you more.

Life without Sin

What would the world be like without sin?
Would the scenery be perfect?
Would everyone get along?
Would everyone worship the Creator?

No one would quarrel.
There would be no murder.
There would be no reason to disobey parents.
There would be no reason for God to send His Son.

Would it be like heaven, but on this earth?
Would it be like a church service that never ends?
Would all be at peace?
What would it be like if Adam and Eve never ate the fruit?

There would be no poor and homeless.
There would be no reason to run and hide.
There would no reason to be scared.
There would be no pain.

We all would be in the image of God.
There would be no tears.
There would be no death.
There would be truth.

Friendship

Is a friend someone you talk to every now and then? Is it someone who can help you if you need help?
Is it someone who leave will you in your time of need?
Is it someone who you will always love?

Is it someone who you would do anything for?
Is it someone who you will always forgive no matter what happens?
Friendships are bonds that will never break.

Nothing can come between them.
Nothing will offend them.
Friends never leave each other in the time of need.

They will always care for each other.
They will always stand up for each other.
Friends will give their life for their friends.

Friendship is a treasure.
Treasure it forever, my dear.
Never let go of it.

Never abuse the friendship.
Never take it for granted.
Never think that you will always have it.

Times will be hard,
but continue to love and forgive,
And you will out live the pain.

Faith

There is no valley to deep, no mountain too high,
He can save you.
There is not night too dark,
He can save you

There is no river too deep,
He can save you
There is no ocean too wide,
He can save you.

Did He not save His disciples from the storm?
Did He not send His son to die on the cross to save you?
Did He not save Elizabeth from her barrenness?
How then, can He not save you?

Are you not more than the sparrow?
Are you not more than the flowers of the field?
Are you not more than the birds of the air?
How then, can He not save you?

You say you believe, but do you really?
You say you have witnessed miracles, but have you?
You say that Jesus is you Savior, but where is your faith?

Do you love Him enough to say, “Here I am Lord, take me.”?
Does He mean anything to you?
He can always save you.
Don’t you know that?

You say, “Oh yeah, He can save me.”
But do you really believe that?
He says that He will always be with you.
How can you not harken to those words?

He will always guard you from the storms.
He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Can’t you give Him your trust?

He will always pick you back up when you fall.
He will always heal your wounds.
Can’t you give Him you love?

He is the one that saves.
He will never leave you.
He is the one that saves.

Pain

My heart aches with pain for you.
My eyes are wet from all the tears I've cried.
I shake, afraid of what you'll do next.
I can't rest until I know you're safe.

I've prayed every prayer for you.
I've written all the words for you.
Will you listen and turn from your ways?
Will you learn to lean on Him?

Don't you know what I'm suffering?
Don't you know what pain you've caused me?
Is there no enough words to say to you?
I can't go on until I know you're safe.

I've prayed every prayer for you.
I've written all the words for you.
Will you listen and turn from your ways?
Will you learn to lean on Him?

What will it take to let the Lord love you?
You are beautiful just the way you are.
You are loved for being you.
I can't write another word until I know you're safe.

I've prayed every prayer for you.
I've written all the words for you.
Will you listen and turn from your ways?
Will you learn to lean on Him?

What will it take for the Lord to make you beautiful again?
What will it take for you to love again?
What will it take for you to be yourself?
I can't breath another breath until I know you're safe.

I've prayed every prayer for you.
I've written all the words for you.
Will you listen and turn from your ways?
Will you learn to lean on Him?

My heart aches with pain for you.
My eyes are wet from all the tears I've cried.
I shake, afraid of what you'll do next.
I can't rest until I know you're safe.

Only You

Who am I to not obey You?
Who am I to stand in opposition against You?
Who am I to run my own life?
Who am I to say that I am king?

Lord, You know better than I do.
You know every little thing that will happen to me.
You know every step I will take.
Only You deserve my praise.

Who am I to take my life into my own hands?
Who am I to boss others around?
Who am I to try to make things right?
Who am I to say that it is all about me?

God, You know what my life will be like.
You have brought people into my life.
You have created this earth.
Only You deserve my praise.

Only You are worthy of my praise.
Only You can sit on the high throne of heaven.
Only You can wear the crown of holiness.
Only You should deserve my praise.

There is no one like our God.
There is no one like the Lord of Life.
There is no one like the Prince of Peace
There is on one like Abba Father.

Who am I, but a worm?
Who am I, but a chunk of clay?
Who am I, but a grain of sand?
Only You should deserve my praise.

Take me into Your hands, O Lord.
Shape me and mold me into what You want me to be.
Use me as Your vessel,
That You may deserve my praise.

Take up Your pen, O Lord.
Write my story as You would have it.
Let my story proclaim Your love,
That You may deserve praise.

Only You, Lord, can mold me into what You want me to be.
Only You, Lord, can write my story how You want it to be.
Only You, Lord, can proclaim Your love thru me.
Only You, Lord, deserve my praise.

Trust Me

He reaches out to take your hand.
He picks you up when you have fallen.
He is a shoulder to cry on.
“I am your shelter,” He whispers in your ear.

He bears all your burdens.
He takes all your pain and grief.
He wipes away all your sins and tears.
“I am your love,” He whispers.

He delivers you for your enemies.
He delivers you from evil.
He delivers you from this world.
“I am your deliverer,” He whispers.

He will lead you.
He won’t steer you wrong.
He will keep you safe.
“I am your guide,” He whispers.

He will bring light to your night.
He will give you light in dark places.
He will light your path so you won’t stumble.
“I am your light,” He whispers.

He will lead you in battle.
He will make your enemies fall.
He will bring victory to His camp.
“I am your captain,” He whispers.

He will rule His people with a just and righteous hand.
He will bring peace to the city.
He will protect His people.
“I am your king,” He whispers.

He created the heavens.
He created the earth.
He created you.
“I am your creator,” He whispers.

Why not praise the God of the universe?
Why not trust him with everything?
Does He not deserve it?
“Trust me,” He whispers.

Why shouldn’t He have our love?
Why shouldn’t He be your shelter?
Has He not earned it?
“Trust me,” He whispers.

All He wants is your praise.
All He wants is your trust.
All He wants is your love.
“Trust me,” He whispers.

All He wants is for you to honor Him.
All He wants is for you to give Him everything.
All He wants is for you to surrender to him.
“Trust me,” He whispers.

True Love

You sit on the corner hoping someone will stop and think you are special.
You wait, day after day, in the same spot, with the same hope.
You want someone to say ‘I love you’ and to wrap their arms around you.
You want someone to truly love you.

Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years.
Still, no one comes to tell you I love you.
Still, you don’t give up your hope, but you wonder,
“What am I good for? Why was I created this way? Does anyone love me?”

Your friends stop by every now and then to tell you they love you,
But that is not enough.
Do they really mean it or are they just saying it because they know you are searching?
Even if you become an old maid, will they still love you?

Your hope begins to fade and the light goes out of your eyes.
Your clothes become old and worn.
You are so deprived of love, that you will do anything for it.
You will become a maid, only if it promises love, anything in the world just for love.

One day, a man, nicely dressed, walks by, takes one look at you and offers his arm.
You hesitate, you see his friendly smile and his glittering eyes.
“Does this man feel bad for me?” you wonder, “That he will take me home to feed and clothe me?”
You look up into his eyes and see there is much more than that.

You take his arm, completely trusting him, hoping love will be around the corner.
When you get to his house, you see it was a scam.
He did not love you, he only wanted you for his servant, nothing else.
You fly from the house, tears rolling down your cheeks and painful images in your mind.

“Where is love, true love?” you cry out to who ever is listening.
“Where is the love I have waited so long for? That I deserve?”
You sit down on your corner, sad, disappointed, and angry.
How could a man do such a thing to you?

“He never really loved me?” you cry.
You sit and cry all the tears that you have.
No one could love you.
You are just a wretch that is lower than anything in the earth.

You look around you.
Everyone has their love but you.
Why are you the only one who does not?
What did you do to receive this desertion?

“Don’t you love me?” you ask one of your friends.
“Of course I do,” he answers “But...”
Your blood runs cold when he adds on the but.
“I love my girl.” he continues, “Who ever falls in love with you will have an awesome girl.”  He said and puts his arm around you.

You sigh at his words.
You were not even good enough for him.
Your best friend.
You fall apart, without a love to comfort you.

A few days later, as you are wandering around on the streets,
A man approaches you.
He was not finely dressed like the last man,
But he was not in rags.

He had a sparkle in his eyes.
You did not believe it at first.
You turn and walk away.
The man follows you.

You walk a little faster.
Still, he keeps up with you.
You stop in your tracks, too scared to turn around.
“I have been following you for a few days now.” He says.

You turn around and stare at him.
“You have been following me?”
“What do you want?” you ask, scared to death.
The man gives you a warm, friendly smile.

“I want your love,” He says calmly and steadily.
“My love?” you ask in shock.
The man nods.
“Your love...” He says again.

You feel at peace.
You want him to love you.
You want to love him.
“Can this be real?” you ask yourself.

“I love you,” The man says.
“I love you,” you whisper back as he takes you into his arms.
Tears, softly roll down your cheeks.
This is what you have been waiting for.

Why has it taken so long?
For years you have waited for this?
Is this really true love?
Or was this man just faking it like the rest?

“I have waited for you for years,” He whispered.
“You have?” you ask, still, with tears rolling down your face.
The man nods and strokes your hair.
“I have suffered and bled looking for you,” He says.

At his words, more tears stream down your face.
“This is true love,” you think to your self.
“But is it really true?”
“Come,” The man whispers in your ear “let’s get you something to eat and clothes to wear.”

At first you hesitate, but the eyes of the man are gentle and kind.
He offers you his arm, and you gratefully take it.
Here is the love that you have searched for so long.
This is true love.

He will treat you with love and respect.
He will give up everything.
He will suffer for you.
This is true love.

I wrote this for my sister when she was struggling with somethings. She also did a post on love, you can find it here if you want to read it.

The Greatest Gift ~

Presents under the tree
Snowflakes drifting to the ground
The tree decked with lights and ornaments
Family gathered ‘round the piano singing carols.

Memories being created
Traditions being kept
Love being shared
Peace being brought

A time when laughter and love fill the air.
A time when hatred and fighting is put aside.
A time when the separated are united.
A time when love was born on earth.

Christmas time; the birth of our Lord
God sent His Son in the form of a babe.
He used a lowly virgin to bring His Son to earth.
What a wonderful gift.

This is a time of toys, chocolates, sweets, and memories.
But let us not forget the greatest gift of them all.
The gift that will never break, or become old.
The gift that will always stay new and fresh.

This is a time to forget all your sorrows
A time to forget what has happened and to welcome a baby into our world.
A time to be thankful for all the presents you get under the tree.
A time to spend with family and friends.

The new year is right ‘round the corner,
Soon, this time will be forgotten
The presents become things on a shelf.
Let us not put our Lord on the shelf after the new year.

Let us cherish the gift that was so willing to die for us.
Let us cherish the gift of love that was sent down that night.
Let us cherish the gift of peace that was bestowed on the earth.
Let us never forget what price was paid for the greatest gift.

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope ya'll had a wonderful day!

Miracles ~

What is a miracle, you ask?
Isn’t it just the blind seeing, the lame walking and the sick healed?
Isn’t it just Jesus conceived in Mary’s womb, or John in Elizabeth’s?

Has God said that your time on earth is done?
Has He called you to Himself?
Are you His child?
You are a living miracle.

Have you over come temptations?
Have you faced the enemy knowing God has a plan for you?
Have you trusted God with your life?
You are a living miracle.

It isn’t just the blind seeing, the lame walking and the sick healed
It isn’t just Jesus conceived in Mary’s womb or John in Elizabeth’s.
It isn’t just Jesus rising from the dead on the third day.
You are a miracle.

You are walking on this earth.
You are alive and well.
You are living in Jesus.
You are a miracle.

Siblings ~

Dedicated to my siblings. I love you all.

Why did God give me siblings?
Sometimes they can be so annoying.
Sometimes I can hate them so.
Yet, other times, I love them so much.

Why do I fight with them?
Why do we show no mercy to the other person?
Why do we wrestle like cats and dogs?
Why do we have to disagree?

How can everything be wrong between us and then the sun comes out?
How come we fight and then love like there was no tomorrow?
Why can my siblings love me when I do wrong to them?
Why are there times I can’t show them mercy?

God showed me mercy, is that why my siblings can?
God loves me unconditionally, is that why my siblings can?
God showed me forgiveness, is that why they can forgive me so fast?
God gave me grace, is that why my sibling love me?

Although, we fight, there is always love after.
Although, we hate each other, there is always forgiveness.
Although, we say mean things, there is always mercy.
Although, we shut down from them, there is always grace.

God gave me siblings to love, forgive, to show grace and mercy.
God gave me siblings to show His character, and to teach me lessons that I don’t accept until it is put straight into my face.
God gave me siblings to learn life lessons when they come up in the future.

I am thankful that He gave me the sibling I have.
They have taught me to look at life thru different eyes.
They have taught me to love unconditionally.

They have taught me to forgive those who have hurt me.
Thank you God for what you have taught me.
Thank you for giving me siblings.
Thank you for revealing Yourself thru them.
Thank you for giving me my best friends.

The Work Of His Hand ~

Does the character create and write his own story?
Does the clay say to the potter, “I want to be like this.”?
Dose the flower say to the Creator, “I want to be a daisy”?
Would the Creator allow the character to write his own story?
Would He allow the clay and the flower tell Him what they want to be?

Can I tell the Creator what I what to be or what I want to do?
Would He allow me to fall and leave me there?
Will He pick me up and help me the rest of the way?
When I stumble will I be left alone?
Will He come back and take my hand?

My Creator will pick me up when I fall.
He will take my hand when I stumble.
I don’t have to tell Him what I want to be
Because He created me exactly in His image.
I am the work of His Hand

He chose me to be His child.
He has chosen to write my story.
He has chosen to mold me and shape me into His creation.
He has chosen the flower to adorn His tables.
I am the work of His hand.

What would I be if He had not chosen me as His own?
How would I live my life if He was not the Author?
I would not be one of the sheep of His pasture.
I would not be able to partake in His feast.
I am the work of His hand.

I have a love that will never leave me.
I have a peace that will never subside.
I have a joy that will never fade.
I am the work of His hand.

A Walk Thru The Snow

The moon, hidden behind delicate clouds, shines bright, illuminating the fluffy
white cotton that lays on the ground, covering the countryside in a blanket of stillness.

No bird sings it song, no squirrel prowls for food, no fawn prances about in the
meadow. No people laugh as they enjoy the warmth, no children yell as they play.
All is quiet and still. No sound is hear, no noise is made.

The trees and the bushes are covered in the white cotton. The countryside lays at peace, with nothing to disturb it.

I walk out of the door and see the beauty God has created. The moon shining down on the white blanket covering the earth. I pull my coat up farther around my shoulders to shield me from the wintery wind.

I walk down the lane with the moon as my light and God as my guide. I look back behind me. The house, illuminated by the lights inside, looks warm and welcoming.

I continue on my path. I will return to that house soon, but for now, I will take a walk in the snow.

My boots squeaked in the snow as I walked down the path. The snow falls lightly onto my nose, eyelashes, and finger tips. I hold out my hands to catch the snow and tilt back my head and let them fall onto my face.

“Thank you God.” I whisper as I continue on. I glance up at the moon that peaks thru the clouds. Trying to shed even more light on to the fluffy cotton.

I return home with a light heart, and cold hands and face. A ray of warmth greets me as I walk in the door. I quickly shed my jacket, boots, gloves and hat, and sit next to the fire.

I look out the window at the winter wonderland. Everything as white as it could be. Branches hanging heavy with the snow, and the landscape matted down under the heavy blanket as it lays in peace.

The Greatest Love

He prayed in the garden asking that the cup He was about to drink, would be taken away. He knew that His father’s will must be done. He did not plead otherwise.
This is the greatest love

When questioned before the council, He was silent. He let them mock and accuse Him. He remained silent.
This is the greatest love

After He was beaten, He was hardly recognizable as a man. He bore his cross thought mocking crowds. Still, He was silent.
This is the greatest love

He was nailed to the cross without a word. He died with such agony and pain. He took away the sins of the whole world. Through Him we have life.
This is the greatest love.

For me He died. For me He shed his blood. For me He suffered to give me eternal life.
This is the greatest love.

Am I worthy of such a love? His love broke the chains that held me captive. His love lasts forever.
This is the greatest love

Family

The love of a family no one can surpass.
The kindness of a family is like a wild flower forever in bloom.
Their understanding is like a gentle breeze on a lake.
They are always there to pick you up when you fall.
There is a river of joy constantly overflowing.
How can you ask for anything more?

When you are with your family, there is no reason to fear anything.
You can ask for a hug without feeling silly.
There will never be an emptiness when you are with family.
You never need to ask for help, they always seem to know.
They will always give you support when you need it.
How can you ask for anything more?

Family- Someone, or multiple people, who you can love, trust, depend on, enjoy and run to in time of need.

This weekend my family spent time with some friends of ours (post soon to come) and there I found one definition of family. A family does not have to be your blood relation. Through the Lord, it could be a church body or close friends. I have been learning that for the last year, but it hit me hard this past weekend. Because of Jesus Christ, I have a sister in England and two Aunts here. I also have a fellowship that loves me and who I would not trade for anyone in the world. I have brothers and sisters all over the world. We all have the same Father. I count it an honor to be related in the Lord to the family we spent the weekend with, my church group, and my immediate family members. I love you all!
